Jesus, was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, where for forty days he was tested
We learn a lot about Jesus from Luke’s account of Jesus being tested in the wilderness. Luke 4:1-13 portrays Jesus as the Son of God who is also fully human, obedient to God’s Word, resistant to temptation, and focused on his divine mission. “Being tested” is not just something that happens to some people; it’s a fundamental aspect of the human condition. Being tested shapes who we are, helps us grow, and gives meaning to our journey through life.
